Woman steals shotgun in Ontario Village, Cayo

By BBN Staff: On Wednesday, July 5, 2017 around  11:30 p.m., Hugh Lamb, 60, a farmer of Ontario Village, Cayo was in bed when he heard someone call out his name.

Lamb told police that upon making checks, he saw a female whom he recognized. They had a conversation and shortly, thereafter, she ran into his room and took his 12-gauge double barrel shotgun and ran outside and met two men.

One of the men reportedly hit him with a metal pipe.

Lamb then ran away and noticed one of the men firing several shots in his direction but missed.

All three persons made good their escape with the 12-gauge shotgun.

Police are investigating
