By BBN Staff: According to police reports, on Wednesday, July 5 about 9:00 am, San Pedro Police responded to a report at the Poly Clinic where they saw a male person lying motionless on a bed.
Police investigation revealed that about 7:55 am, Plutarco Noralez, 56, a Belizean Laborer of a San Pedrito Area, San Pedro Town arrived at the Poly Clinic and told the Doctor that he was suffering from severe chest pain.
Noralez was escorted to the emergency room area where he was attended by a doctor.
He passed away around 8:50 am.
On Thursday, July, 6, 2017, a post mortem examination was conducted on the body of Noralez where the cause of death was traumatic asphyxiation due to severe oedema of epiglotis due to neck and chest compression due to blunt force trauma.
Police investigation continues.
