Body discovered in sugar cane field in Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: On Friday, July 7, 2017 around 2:11 p.m., Orange Walk police visited a cane field located about 2 1/2 miles out of San Estevan Village and about 1 1/2 mile inside a feeder road where they found the lifeless body of Manuel Novelo, 45, a Belizean Cane Farmer of San Estevan Village.

Novelo was on the ground lying face up.

There were no visible wounds on the body.

The body was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where it now awaits a post mortem examination.
