By BBN Staff: Following the death of Faye Lin Cannon, her adopted mother and step-father have been remanded to the Hattieville prison.
However, Faye’s three other siblings remain in the care of the Ministry of Human Development.
Information to BBN is that the Ministry is allowed to keep them for the next three months.
But according to reports, the Ministry is now being challenged by the original adopted father of the children, David Cannon, who has recently landed in Belize.
He is of the view that at this time he is the only one fit to best take care of the children.
He has since retained a legal counsel to launch a battle for custody.
BBN will continue to monitor this story for more developments.
