Will Mayor Bradley seek re-election?

By BBN Staff: Our newsroom has confirmed that two term Belize City Mayor, Darrel Bradley, has not submitted his name to the UDP Secretariat for re-election.

The deadline to do so was July 14.

So will he run or not? The Mayor has not commented on the matter but his Deputy Party Leader,Patrick Faber, did so previously.

Faber had hinted that his party would accomodate Bradley however best they could.

While Bradley contemplates, Councillors Philip Willoughby and Deon Leslie have applied to serve as his replacement.

However, before doing so they will have to square off in a party convention scheduled for August.
