By BBN Staff: Mark Pollard has been missing for 17 days and there is still no sign of him.

The Belize Police Department, Coast Guard and his family and friends continue to search for him.

Yesterday, Southside Commander Sr. Supt. Marco Vidal in a press brief with the media indicated that Pollard remains missing.

He said that searches have been carried out from where Pollard was last seen up to Hattieville and the other side of the Haulover bridge.

“This operation has been done jointly with the Coast Guard and family members of the victim. It has not given us anything as yet, but I will say that there is a number of information that is coming to us and we are pursuing every single information that is coming to us. So we have not left that to rest. We will continue to carry out what is required of us to investigate that matter further,” Vidal stated.

Vidal also confirmed that police retrieved the board with blood near the bridge by 6 miles and it has been sent to the forensic office for testing. Police continue to follow leads.
