No money to host CODICADER games, says GOB

By BBN Staff: Two days ago, BBN reported that Belize would be hosting the CODICADER Games in October 2017.

Last year, the National Sports Council spent four hundred thousand dollars hosting the CODICADER Games. However, this year, only two disciplines will be featured in the games meaning that the expenses would be less but government has already stated that they do not have the amount of money for accommodating CODICADER for another year.

Deon Sutherland of the National Sports Council stated that the council has to go along with what the Minister says and if there are no funds, then there is nothing that they can do.

Sutherland told News5 that they were hoping for the opportunity since it is the disability games for kids with disabilities.
