Belizeans represent in Kazakhstan for World Expo 2017

By BBN Staff: Expo 2017 is an International Exposition taking place from June 10 – September 10 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The theme, “Future Energy”, is aimed toward concentrating on the future of energy and on innovative and practical energy solutions and their impacts

The event aims to create a global debate between countries, nongovernmental organizations, companies and the general public on the crucial question: “How do we ensure safe and sustainable access to energy for all while reducing CO₂ emissions?”

A group of Belizean musicians along with the Belize Dance Company are in Kazakhstan representing Belize at the event.

Today is the group’s last day performing at the Expo.

According to the official website of Expo 2017, the total amount of the exhibition visitors since June 10 through July 23 amounted to 1,484,300 people.
