By BBN Staff:  The Chairman of the Senate Select Committee, Aldo Salazar, and various of his colleagues in the UDP have expressed their desire to bring the hearings into the Auditor General’s report to an end.

Today, Salazar told the media that the hearings of the committee will be suspended until September.

“We are taking a break for the month of August,” he said.

However, he revealed that at the end of August, the Senate Select Committee will visit the  Immigration Department.

The hearings will resume in the first week of September. Witnesses have already been identified, Salazar said.
