By BBN Staff: Two term Belize City Mayor, Darrel Bradley, will not be seeking re-election.

However, he indicated that he remains a firm supporter of the United Democratic Party and will assist the council whenever necessary.

His exit leaves the post vacant and already two councilors, Dion Leslie and Philip Willoughby are rumbling to fill it.

Of the two, Bradley has indicated his unwavering support for Leslie who has been described as Prime Minister Dean Barrow as the councilor who received the most votes in all elections contested.

In the next 25 days, Bradley’s replacement will be selected.
