Orange Walk retiree found dead

By BBN Staff: This morning around 7:38, Orange Walk police visited a San Estevan Street address in Orange Walk Town where they observed in a house the motionless body of a man.

The victim was identified as Gregorio De Leon, 85, retired Belizean lying face up with wounds to the back of his head.

Initial information revealed that De Leon was last seen sometime around 7 last night by a family member.

The body was transported to the morgue where it awaits a postmortem examination.

Police are investigating this matter.
