Police issue official report on fatal accident in Spanish Lookout

By BBN Staff: Yesterday around 4, Stephen Hochstetler ,33, a supervisor from Iguana Creek Road in Spanish Lookout reported to authorities that he was driving his 4runner SUV that was parked beside a building in his yard to discharge some pipes .

Hochstetler says that he then reversed and did not notice his 1 year and 2 months old daughter Hannah who was behind the vehicle.

He knocked down the toddler who was immediately transported to Western Regional Hospital by ambulance.

Baby Hannah was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

The scene was processed and police investigations continue.
