Important message from Elections and Boundaries Department

By BBN Staff: The Elections and Boundaries Department has issued a statement notifying the public that all Registration Offices countrywide will be open on Saturday, August, 26th 2017 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This is to facilitate:

a) Persons who wish to be transferred from one electoral division to another

b) Registration of persons who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years and over and have not yet registered

c) Delivery of Voters’ Identification Card

Electors seeking to be transferred are encouraged to take along their Voters’ Identification Card or any other picture identification such as: Passport, Social Security Card or Drivers License.

Persons seeking registration shall present:

– Belizean Birth Certificate along with a picture identification card or

– Belizean Passport or

– Belize Nationality Certificate

Persons who present a Belizean Birth Certificate or Belize Nationality Certificate which does not have a photograph shall bring along picture identification.

The Elections and Boundaries Department encourages the public to take advantage of this opportunity.
