Man shot and killed in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Last night around 11, police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (K.H.M.H ) where they saw 23-year-old Christian Velasquez with gunshot wounds to the chest and back.

Investigation revealed that Velasquez was standing in front of Antelope Street Extension where several shots were fired at him from inside a vehicle.

He was transported to the K.H.M.H where he was pronounced dead at 11:07 p.m.

Police have detained two men as investigations continue.
