Dangriga man busted with weed in Belize City

By BBN Staff: At around 4:30 pm yesterday, police were on patrol in the area of West Collet Canal in Belize City conducting stop and search operations.

Police reportedly stopped and searched Carlos Roland Coronado, 28, who is from Dangriga town.

The searched led to the discovery of 1,149 grams of cannabis which was in a knapsack he was carrying.

He was arrested and charged for the offence of “drug trafficking”.

He is scheduled to appeared in court this afternoon.
