Jafari Castro and Franklin detained by police

By BBN Staff: A short while ago, the Belize Police department informed the media that Jafari Castro and Gilbert Franklin have been detained by police.

A warrant was issued earlier this week for Castro and Franklin’s arrest in connection with an attack of Kevin Brown,21, basketball player from Camalote Village.

The attack on Brown, which left him in a coma for a few days, occurred in San Pedro Town on Saturday, August 5, 2017.

Police are still seeking James Young who is also accused of attacking Brown.

BBN will have more updates when the men are charged for the offences.
