Minister Boots Martinez and Michael Peyrefitte to meet FBI and other US officials

By BBN Staff:  Port Loyola Area Representative, Anthony “Boots” Martinez and Attorney General, Michael Peyrefitte, are scheduled to meet with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

They are both in Washington D.C. attending a round table of Human Trafficking Seminar.

They will also meet with the Department of Homeland Security and the Trafficking in Persons Office of the State Department.

They have already met with the US Department of Justice and Diplomatic Security, and Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice.

According to a statement issued from the Government of Belize, “Rosenstein commended the International Legal Affairs Department in Belize’s Attorney General Ministry and relayed the United States Government’s gratefulness for the work Hon. Peyrefitte has been doing since assuming the post.”
