By BBN Staff: At the FFB Extraordinary congress held on Saturday, the executive had planned to dismiss a number of employees.

Those employees were: Ruperto Vicente, Michael Blease, John Palacio and Shane Orio.

However, they were never dismissed because due process never happened.

In a letter from FIFA, the Secretary General indicated that the congress does not have authority to terminate the employees.

And so prior to Saturday’s meeting, the FFB took the dismissal off the agenda.

According to President of the FFB, Ian Haylock, it was unclear if the congress had the authority to dismiss staff members of the FFB’s secretariat.

According to him, although the FFB has the authority to dismiss persons or associations, those requests have to be justified and the persons at the chopping block must be given an opportunity to defend themselves before congress.
