By BBN Staff: Punta Gorda police are investigating a case of theft in that southern municipality.

Anthony Westby Jr., a businessman of #33 Mahogany Street, Indianville area, Punta Gorda, reported that between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017 and 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 someone entered his garage and stole electrical equipment to a total value of $6,185.00.

Police are investigating.
