Graphic designer shot in Belize City

By BBN Staff: According to police reports, last night around 10:15, Belize City police visited the KHMH where they saw Darwin Martinez, 26, a graphic designer of Mayflower Street suffering from gunshot wound to the left upper back and to the left upper chest area.

Police investigation reveals that around 10:10, Martinez was inside a black Saturn car seated in the front passenger seat along with his uncle who was driving the vehicle and while passing on Ebony Street turning into Sibun Street, he heard several shots and realized he had been shot.

Police have no suspect at this time and Martinez is listed in a stable condition at the KHMH.

Police investigation continues.
