Police raid in Ghost town leads to discovery of bullets

By BBN Staff: September 11th, was a day set aside to commemorate the Battle of St. George’s Caye.

However, instead of resting on their laurels, officers in Belize City conducted a raid of the Mayflower area, also known as Ghost Town.

Shortly after midnight, officers found a a black plastic bag containing (12) .38 Aguila brand rounds and (5) 40mm WIN S&W brand round.

However, no one was in the area at the time of the search. The items were labeled as “found property.”
