SSB increases online presence

By BBN Staff:  The Social Security Board (SSB) is making itself more accessible to Belizeans by increasing it’s online presence.

This morning the SSB announced the launch of its first social media account via Facebook, and it’s online portal, which allows employers greater convenience in making payments.

The SSB made the announcement at its media mixer, held at the Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza this morning, and touched on several issues. The mixer’s major highlight is the proposal for increases in Social Security contributions, and the technical issues associated therewith.
