By BBN Staff: Sometime last night the Belize Police Department received a tip of a possible grenade detonation at a primary school in Belize City.
That school, St. Martin Deporres, today recorded a low turnout of students but teachers and administration were present along with security forces who came out in numbers to secure the school.
Officers remain on duty at the school but have reduced their presence.
Police nor school administrators have given any official comment but have confirmed to our newsroom that classes remain scheduled as per normal.
