Police find weed and ammo in Belize City

By BBN Staff: This morning around 6:30, officers of the Special Assignment Team along with the K9 Unit conducted searches in the Mayflower area of Belize City where they found a black plastic bag.

Inside the bag, they found eight Aguila brand .38 SPL rounds of ammunition and another black plastic bag containing 34 grams of cannabis.

No one was in the area and so the items were labeled and deposited as found property.
