By BBN Staff: On Tuesday night Belize City South side Commander, Marco Vidal, made some wild claims about his predecessor, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) , Chester Williams.
When asked about the period of peace between rivals gangs between April and July, Vidal indicated it wasn’t peace but that certain gangs were allowed to thrive in the marijuana ring while others were not.
Well ACP Williams heard Vidal’s comments on the news and fired back on Tuesday night in a Facebook post in which he indicated that he would consider legal action against Vidal.
On Wednesday Vidal was asked for a comment but he declined. He only indicated that he did not know of the impending court action and simply indicated that, “it is what it is.”
