Belizeans honored at Belizean Patriots Tribute

By BBN Staff: Twenty-two Belizeans were honored last night at the Bliss Center for the performing arts.

The citizens were awarded for their outstanding contributions to the community at the annual Tribute to Belizean Patriots ceremony.

The order of distinction was given to Betty Flinchum and Henry Young Sr. while 20 other Belizeans received the Meritorious Service Award.

Carlos Perdomo and the Governor General of Belize, Sir. Colville Young presented the proclamation.

The Meritorious Service Award was given to: Patricia Bennet, Dianne Finnegan, Lucille Hulse Heusner, Arcadia Carrillo, Matron Christina Palacio, Rita Defore, Cordelia Raymond, Kathleen Skeen, McKayla Williamson,. Earnest Tillett, Cuthbert Bailey, Henry Smith, Earlyn Henderson, Eworth Garbutt, Fabian Cayettano, Sebastian Cayettano, John Young Sr, Pedro Salazar Sr, Robert Usher, Robert Pate Sr.
