Gunshot victim and his attacker both hospitalized

By BBN Staff: Aaron King was shot at a party on Sunday night in Belize City.

According to police reports, at around 10 p.m. he was at a residence in Buttonwood Bay when two men on bicycles approached him.

One of the men called out his name and when he responded, he was shot.

King ran and the gunman followed him shooting him two more times. He was shot twice in the chest and once in the shoulder.

The gunman attempted to fire more shots when a man at the residence pulled out his licensed firearm and shot him twice in his stomach.

And so King and the gunman identified as Moses Babb are both at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) receiving medical treatment.

Police say that as soon as Babb is healthy, he will be charged.
