13-year-old girl reported missing in Trial Farm, Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: Yesterday morning around 7:40, Silvia Marina Guillen,33, of Trial Farm Village, Orange Walk District reported to police that on Independence eve, her 13-year-old niece, Kenia Estelita Briceno went missing from Orange Walk Town, while working at the fair with her relatives.

Kenia reportedly informed her sister that she was leaving to use the washroom and has not been seen since then.

She was in the company of her 15-year-old boyfriend, Luis Teck of San Jose Village, whose whereabouts is also unknown.

Kenia is of Mestizo decent about five feet in height, weighs about 125 pounds, is medium built, has straight black hair just below the shoulder,has a round face, and sharp nose.

She was last seen wearing a green blouse, blue jeans short pants, and a black tennis shoe.

The family believes that they are heading for Mexico.

Police are investigating.
