By BBN Staff: Today, police formally arrested and charged Lyndon Lewis,31, of Mile 18, Humming Highway with “conspiracy to robbery”, and Saul Campus,34, of Valley Community with the crime of “murder” of Luis Antonio Sierra of Bullet Tree Village, Cayo District.
Campus was additionally charged for “keeping an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.”
Sierra was lured to an area near the Valley Community in Stann Creek District last week Thursday where Lewis was supposedly going to sell him some cattle.
When Sierra, his worker Ramon Teck and Lewis arrived at the farm, a lone gunman emerged from the bushes and fired a single shot at Sierra. Teck fled the scene uninjured.
According to family members, Sierra called them shortly after the incident but the call was cut.
Sierra’s body was found Friday morning by his brother at the bottom of a hill near the area that the incident occurred.
Sierra leaves behind 4 kids.
