Dorian Sutherland shot and killed in South Side, Belize City

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, police formally arrested and charged Blake Norman Lewis, 18, a Belizean construction worker of Hattieville village for the murder of Marcel Samuels,62, which happened on Friday, September 29, 2017.
Police report indicates that Samuels and his wife were walking on the Butcher Burns Road just off mile twenty on the George Price Highway to their farm when 2 men on motorcycle ambushed them.
One of the men (Blake Lewis) shot Samuels to the head. He died on the spot.
His wife managed to escape by running through a road.
Samuels owned a farm in Butcher Burns and was also a jeweler and did business across the country for many years.
