Father cuts ten year old son with knife

By BBN Staff: Yesterday Henry Gillett, 30, was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court for wounding. He pled not guilty and was offered bail of $1,000.

However, he could not meet it and so was remanded to prison until December 1.

According to court information, on Saturday night, Gillett cut his ten year old son on his upper right arm with a knife after he refused to pick up food from their neighbor on Brown Street in Belize City.
