Former GSU Commander Mark Flowers US Visa revoked?

Posted: Tuesday, October 3, 2017. 5:26 AM. CST.

By BBN Staff: According to a news report from 7 News Belize, Mark Flowers, the former GSU commander has had his US visa revoked.

7 News Belize is reporting that on Friday, Flowers was scheduled to fly to the USA to seek medical treatment; however, it never happened because he wasn’t allowed on the plane due to a pending case in court.

Yesterday, Flowers had a Supreme Court Justice sign a release for him to travel to the USA.

“But, fearing something else right be afoot, they also went to check with the US Embassy if Flowers is free to fly. We are reliably informed that the Embassy informed the person appearing for him that Flowers’ visa has been revoked,” the 7 News Belize article states.

Last year, Flowers was charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and has been on bail since July 2016.
