Dorian Sutherland shot and killed in South Side, Belize City

By BBN Staff: Dorian Sutherland was shot and killed last night near the La Croix Boulevard area in South Side, Belize City.

According to reports, the incident happened in an alley off Linda Vista and Police Streets.

Police say that when they visited the scene, Sutherland had a gunshot wound to the body and initial investigation reveals that he had an altercation with another person and as a result and argument ensured and he was shot.

Police have a suspect detained.

Sutherland died on the spot.
