By BBN Staff: Yesterday, BBN reported that Lyndon Lewis received bail of $3000 for the charge of ‘conspiracy to robbery’ in the murder of Luis Sierra, 46, the butcher of Bullet Tree village that was murdered last week at his farm in Valley Community, Stann Creek.
BBN has learnt that yesterday Lewis was re-arrested and has been jointly charged with Saul Campos for the murder of Sierra.
Dangriga Police believes that Campos was the gunman who shot and killed Sierra and Lewis colluded with him by taking Sierra to his property to sell some cattles.
Sierra’s family believes he was lured there because they wanted to rob him. After being shot, Sierra reportedly called his family and told them he had been shot before the phone cut off.
Yesterday, Lewis was arraigned at the Dangriga Magistrate Court and has been remanded until November 6, 2017.
