By BBN Staff: Belizeans have gathered at the Constitution Park in Belize City to protest the recent hike in fuel prices in the country.

The Belize Leaders for Social Justice Organization organized the protest to bring government’s attention to the negative economic impact on Belizean motorists, taxi men, and consumers.

The group will march from Constitution Park to the Battlefield Park in Belize City. They have also requested that motorists show their support by not purchasing fuel from the gas stations today.
