By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is reporting that showers and thunderstorms are projected to continue over most areas tomorrow night as Tropical Storm Nate approaches.
Nate will dump heavy rains and winds in Belize.
The Met Service says that on Friday night, unstable conditions will prevail over the Northern and Coastal areas.
The winds will blow from the Northeast at 5 to 15 knots.
The sea state will be choppy.
High temperatures are expected as follows: In the coast, 84 degrees Fahrenheit; 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 77 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Low temperatures for tonight in the coast are expected at 78 degrees Fahrenheit, inland at 73 degrees Fahrenheit and in the hills, 66 degrees Fahrenheit.
Yesterday, NEMO issued advisory one on Tropical depression sixteen. It is expected that an advisory will be issued today on Tropical Storm Nate.
