By BBN Staff: Yesterday around 3:00 am, police responded to a house fire report at apartment 13 in Pickstock, Belize City where they saw a small wooden structure engulfed in flames.
Gareth Gill, 33, reported that sometime around 2:50 am, he was inside his house when he heard a bang on his roof and noticed that his house was on fire.
The fire was extinguished by personnel from the Fire Department.
The estimated cost of damages is $10,725.00.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
Police are investigating.
