Electrician shot to the right thigh in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Yesterday around 8:15 in the night, police visited the KHMH where they saw Kirkland Michael Dawson, 31, a Belizean Electrician of Euphrates Avenue, Belize City suffering from 1 gunshot wound to the right thigh.

Initial investigation reveals that last night Dawson was socializing with friends on Curassow Street, Belize City and about 40 feet away from North Creek, Belize City, he heard several shots being fired then he felt a burning sensation to his right thigh and realized he had been shot.

Police investigation continues.
