Man loses $16,350 worth of valuables in burglary

By BBN Staff: There is a case of burglary coming out of the Cay District.

According to police reports, just before 5 p.m. on Sunday, cops visited the Lomas Del Rodeo New Extension area of Benque Viejo where they spoke to Cesar Olivarez, 39.

He told police that sometime around 5 a.m. he received a call informing him that his house was burglarized.

When he made a check at around 8:30 a.m., he noticed house was burglarized. He told police that some electronic items, colognes, perfumes, miscellaneous item and $2,500.00 in cash had been stolen.

His total loss amounted to $16,350.00.

Police investigation continues.
