By BBN Staff: Adele Ramos, the assistant editor of the widely circulated Amandala newspaper, is scheduled to make her gracious exit from that post next month after 20 years with the paper.

Ramos made the announcement earlier this month via her social media account.

She posted to Facebook,  “I am moving on to pursue my dreams! It’s been an awesome journey, but sometimes in life, we have to move on… that time has come for me.”

She expressed her appreciation for the KREMANDALA family and their fans.

“Always grateful to Kremandala and our fans who have stayed true over the years,” she said.

News of the published poet and prolific writer’s resignation garnered much attention on social media, with colleagues and peers of hers expressing support for her new endeavors.

UDP Belmopan City Councilor, Anna Banner Guy, shared, “Seasons change, you will do good wherever you go. Enjoy”

While Plus TV News Anchor, Denise Walker commented, “That time has come. Go on and embrace all its goodness you virtuous woman. BEST WISHES!!!!”

BNTU President and Senator Elena Smith, added, “Wishing you all the best on your new journey. I will surely miss reading your articles as will many others.”

Fitzroy Yearwood, former police press officer typed, “Best of luck in pursuing your dreams Adele Ramos. It was a pleasure working with you.”

Geovanni Brackett, President of COLA wrote, “Adele Ramos it was awesome working with you. Learned a lot and admire your skill set … thanks for having me on your Adele Ramos talk-show but please share where are you going next so we can follow you.”

Former CEO in the Ministry of National Development, Hugh O’Brien commented, “You have been the best writing journalist so far in Belize. Keep on aspiring for greatness.”

There are still indications, however, that Ramos may continue to do some work with Krem as she recently posted a picture along with the KREM TV General Manager and hinted that there was a new tv show on the horizon.

Our newsroom wishes Ramos the best in all her future undertakings!
