Last week, the Special Envoy for Women and Children, Kim Simplis Barrow joined with the Belize Cancer Society to unveil the 2017 Cancer Awareness/Empowerment Flyer.
The event took place at the Belize Cancer Society office.
The theme for this year’s awareness month is “A mile in my shoe.”
Guests at the event included UN representatives, members of the Belize Police Department including Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dezerie Phillips, Executive Director of the Belize Women’s Commission, Ann Marie Williams and other members of the Belize Cancer Society and women featured in previous and new banners and flyers.
