Hispanic men tried kidnapping child in Succotz Village

By Zoila Palma: Yesterday, a concerned resident informed BBN that in Succotz Village, Cayo District two men in a vehicle attempted to take a child from the neighborhood between the hours of 4 and 5 PM.

According to reports, the men are of Hispanic descent and were seen in a gold colored vehicle.

The child ran to a nearby store where she told the owners what had happened. Residents quickly came out to find the suspicious vehicle leaving the area when they were informed of the ordeal.

Residents are advised to be on the alert for suspicious vehicles and to educate children about not talking to strangers.
