Senior citizen dies after being beaten in Southside, Belize City

By Zoila Palma: On Saturday, October 14, 2017, Ricardo Vasquez, 82, was badly beaten in the Southside of Belize City.

Vasquez was reportedly at a game room at the corner of Water Lane and West Street and when he went outside of the place, he was robbed and beaten and left in the drain.

Police arrived on the scene, picked him up out of the drain, and took him to the KHMH for medical treatment.

Vasquez was on life support up until this morning when he succumbed to the injuries.
