By BBN Staff: Police have issued an official report confirming the murder we reported in the Lake Independence area of Belize City last night.
The victim has been identified as Sydney Lamb, 42, also known as “Belly”.
According to police reports, he was at a shop on Casaurina Street when a gun man rode up to him and opened fire.
He was shot in the head and upper body.
He reportedly died while receiving medical attention at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
“Belly” according to our sources was a regular fixture at Cox Tire Shop on Vernon Street.
