Man charged for pen gun and ammo in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Last night, Belize City police conducting a mobile patrol in the vicinity of Lindo’ s Alley searched two men sitting under a shed in a yard.

During the search, George Alfonso Zetina,19, a construction worker of a Belize City address was found with a pen gun containing a live .22 live round and 6.3 grams of cannabis.

He was arrested and charged for ‘kept prohibited firearm’, ‘kept ammunition without a gun license’ and ‘possession of controlled drugs’.
