Transport Department issues notice on bridges in Cayo

By Zoila Palma:  The Department of Transport is advising all motorists and the general public that the Iguana Creek Bridge used to go towards Spanish Lookout from the George Price Highway and the Low Lying Wooden Bridge used to go from Santa Elena to San Ignacio are closed to all traffic due to flooding.

Please note that the New Bridge which is accessible through the Loma Luz Boulevard will now be used as the Entry into San Ignacio Town.

The Hawkesworth Bridge remains as “one way” for traffic leaving San Ignacio Town towards Santa Elena and onwards.
