By BBN Staff: A home burnt to the ground sometime between October 15th and the 18th, however, the owners only made a report yesterday.
Yesterday Carla Velasquez, 39, reported to police that on October 15 at about 6:00 a.m., she along with her common-law husband Emir Recinos and her children left their house to shelter due to flooding.
She stated that on October 18th, sometime around 12:00 p.m., her common-law husband informed her that their house located 8 miles north of San Pedro had been totally destroyed by fire.
The house and its contents were valued at $15,000.
Police are investigating.
