Police bust Belize City man with ganja

By BBN Staff: Belize City cops have busted a man with 223 grams of cannabis.

On Thursday at around 4:30 p.m., police were conducting mobile patrol on Wood Street when their  attention was drawn to a short black man walking with a black plastic bag in his left hand.

Police reportedly intercepted the man and conducted a search on him. When they looked inside the black plastic bag, police found the cannabis.

As a result, police formally arrested and charged Emmanuel Lemoth, 30, with “drug trafficking.”
