By BBN Staff: Some residents from Hopkins Village contacted BBN to express their concern about the water situation in their village.
The residents say that they have been without running water for over a month.
According to residents, they have reported it to the water board in the village but there seems to be no effort from relevant authorities to address their situation.
The village chairman, Derrington Ramirez told BBN that he is also concerned since only a few areas have access to water. “ Some parts are getting water but no pressure and some parts of the village are getting no water. So we are still in the water crisis,” he explained.
The residents are making a plea to the relevant authorities to look into this matter.
