Police quickly detain early morning shooter

By BBN Staff: A gunman has been busted by police after opening fire in a community on the south side of Belize City. Fortunately no one was injured.

Police say that at about 8:05 this morning, cops responded to a report of shots fired on Kut Avenue.

When officers arrived on the scene they quickly nabbed 24-year-old Reese Fitzgibbon of a Supal Street address.

Police say he was armed with a .9mm pistol and five .9mm rounds of ammunition.

He had since been detained pending charges.
